恐れていたことが現実に。
ハンブルクバレエ団から公式に、シンガポールで2/21-2/23に予定されてた『椿姫』の公演のキャンセルが発表された。
シンガポールの翌週に予定されてたマカオについてはだいぶ前にキャンセルが決まっていて、シンガポールはどうなるかと心配していたのだけど。。

The Hamburg Ballet John Neumeier has worked for years to realize a second tour to Singapore which, of course, implies a great deal of planning, fundraising, organization and extra rehearsals. However, under the given circumstances in the fight with the Coronavirus and considering the official advice by the Ministry of Health in Singapore to cancel or defer non-essential large-scale events, I feel that I cannot risk the health of my ensemble. Code Orange was declared on February 7th. The planned performances in Singapore cannot be realized at the usual and necessary emotional and artistic level as the artists and crew members would be under extraordinary psychological pressure.
残念だけど、シンガポールの現状だと、キャンセルも仕方がない…。現在コロナウィルスのせいでアラートが上から2番目になっている。コメントからはオレンジに上がったのがキャンセルの最後の後押しをした感はある。
でも実際、ダンサーやスタッフたちがコロナウィルス感染の心配をしながら最高のパフォーマンスができるかっていうとそうとは思えないし、そんなリスクを取らせたくないとノイマイヤーのいうのもごもっとも。
そして次の心配は、パリオペラ座バレエ団の日本公演は予定通りやってくれるかどうかだ……。めちゃくちゃ心配。（12月のパリで払い戻し食らってるからね）
